Refund policy

At Paws of Peace, we want you and your pet to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with an eligible product, you may request a return according to the terms below.

1. 30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return period beginning from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return, the item must generally be:

Unused and in its original condition.
In the original packaging, with accessories and tags where applicable.
Free from damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or normal wear and tear.
Returned within 30 days of delivery.

Some products may have specific return restrictions due to their nature.

2. Returns Within India 🇮🇳

For eligible orders delivered within India:

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
Return shipping is free for eligible returns.
No restocking fee (0%) will be charged.
Once the returned item is received and inspected, an approved refund will be processed.

3. International Returns 🌎

For eligible orders delivered outside India:

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, unless the product is defective, damaged, incorrect, or the return is otherwise determined to be our responsibility.
A 5% restocking fee will be deducted from the approved refund.
International returns should preferably be shipped using a trackable shipping service.
Customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, and similar charges are generally non-refundable.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong product, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide:

Your order number
A description of the issue
Clear photos or videos of the product
Photos of the packaging, if applicable

After reviewing the issue, we may offer a replacement, refund, or another appropriate solution.

For confirmed issues caused by us, we will not apply the international 5% restocking fee.

5. Refunds

After we receive your returned product, it will be inspected.

If your return is approved:

The applicable refund will be issued to your original payment method whenever possible.
Domestic India returns: no restocking fee.
International returns: a 5% restocking fee will be deducted.
Original shipping charges may not be refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective/damaged product.
Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to process the refund.

6. Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of placing the order.

After the 1-hour cancellation period, the order may have entered processing or fulfillment, and cancellation may no longer be possible.

7. Final Sale Items

Products clearly marked as Final Sale are not eligible for returns or cancellations, except where required by applicable law.

8. International Customs & Import Charges

International customers are responsible for understanding the import requirements of their destination country.

Depending on the destination, you may be responsible for:

Customs duties
Import taxes
VAT/GST
Brokerage or handling fees
Other destination-country charges

These charges are generally not refundable by Paws of Peace.

Please do not send a product back without contacting us first, as unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
